When I first began creating Ayur Botanics, I faced a choice.

Do I let machines make my formulas faster, cheaper, and in bulk?Or do I stay true to the way I was taught ;the way Ayurveda has been practiced for thousands of years ;and craft them by hand?

For me, the choice was clear.Ayur Botanics had to be handmade.

The Ritual of Making

In Ayurveda, medicine-making is not just a task ;it is a ritual.

When I learned under my teachers in India, they didn’t just teach me which herb was for what condition. They taught me how to sit quietly before I began. How to respect the ingredients. How to stir with awareness.

I was taught that the energy of the maker becomes part of the medicine.

So when I make a balm or blend an oil, I don’t rush. I allow the herbs to soak, the oils to infuse, the process to take its time. I stir with the same care my grandmother used in her kitchen — because that energy matters.

More Than a Product

When you open a jar of Ayur Botanics, you’re not just getting a skincare product.

You’re getting hours of patient infusing, careful straining, slow blending. You’re getting the touch of a practitioner who believes in the wisdom of these herbs.

You’re getting something that still feels alive.

Why It Matters for Your Skin

Handmaking means:

  • We never overheat our oils or damage the delicate actives in the herbs

  • Every batch is small, so you receive it fresh and potent

  • I can check every jar myself before it leaves the studio

But more than that; it means you are receiving something made with care, intention, and reverence.

And I believe your skin can feel that.

Made by Hand, Made for You

Ayur Botanics is not here to mass-produce skincare. We are here to bring healing back into skincare ;one batch, one jar, one person at a time.

Because skincare should be more than just routine. It should be ritual.

Every jar is touched by hand before it touches your skin.

With love,

The Founder
