The founder’s journey into skincare began in India over 22 years ago, inspired by a deeply personal experience. During her early twenties, a close friend struggled with leucoderma, a condition that left her feeling depressed and hopeless. At the time, the founder was pursuing her bachelor's degree in Ayurvedic medicine and decided to explore Ayurvedic remedies to help her friend. Through extensive research, she developed a herbal treatment that successfully cured the leucoderma. This experience sparked her profound appreciation for the power of herbs and natural remedies, marking the beginning of her lifelong journey into Ayurvedic research and skincare. Fifteen years ago, the founder relocated to England, where she established her Ayurvedic clinic and practice. There, she encountered clients facing various skin issues caused by the harsh British weather. While her Ayurvedic remedies brought relief, they didn’t yield the same results as they had in India. This led her to reflect on one of Ayurveda’s core principles: the importance of time (kala), land (desha), and season (ritu) when addressing ailments. Ayurveda teaches that each region produces its own unique herbs and remedies, perfectly suited to the challenges of its specific climate. Realizing this, the founder began formulating skincare products that combined potent Ayurvedic herbs with locally sourced British botanicals. The results were transformative—her remedies worked wonders for her clients. Encouraged by this success, she decided to make these effective solutions available to a wider audience.
